Pertronix 71281 Review: There is a night and day difference between my point based system and the Pertronix Ignitor III that I installed in my 64 1/2 Mustang coupe with 289 V8 which is a step or two above stock. The engine starts easier, runs smoother, and execellerates quicker. that it did with the point system. I also installed the Flamethrower III coil at the same time.
